Never forget this. My sister & I believe my brother had the privilege of visiting different memorial sights in Europe. If I could go anywhere out of the country, it would be here & hopefully with my kids. It is so easy to take for granted our freedom. Freedom of religion, freedom of race, freedom to speak out our beliefs. God bless all who perished during this tragic time and to all survivors who had to ind a way to go on with their lives.

Beautifully written post.
Auschwitz was an amazing experience, and i really do think each person should go if possible.
To see what REALLY happened...to see actual luggage items left behind, toys from kids that were prisoners there...
Oh gosh, the tour started with a video. They talked about the different methods of torture the guards "experimented" with on these poor people.
One of them was stripping a man naked, then having him stand outside in the freezing temps and snow. They experiment was to time how long it'd take him to freeze to death.
It makes me so sick.
I am forever grateful I had that experience.
God bless them all.
I am content knowing God will show those guards true justice for their actions.
I really want to Auschwitz one day. I can only imagine how emotionally moving it must be to visit.
My sister and I went to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC and we both left in tears.
And it really pisses me off that Iranian leaders claim that the Holocaust never happened!
