The very best of my childhood died today. I'm so sad at the loss of someone I never knew but someone who had such a profound impact on my life. In this way, I feel like the luckiest person. I grew up when Michael Jackson emerged into my life and millions of other hopefuls wanting just a tad of his talent.
I wanted to be a dancer because of him. I danced the way I did because of him & I will always keep that with me.

I'm so sorry Sue :( I grew up listening to Michael Jackson. It is such a shock.
I'm sorry. :(
I can't think of Michael Jackson without thinking of you, and I think that's why I cried last night.
Total shock.
His music will live on!
It's just making it through all the news tributes the nest few days that will be so hard.
I told Pat we ARE going to buy MJ's best of CD this weekend. I'm sure his sales are going to sky rocket.
So sad.
We listened to MJ all day at the bank on Friday.
He was a great artist.
