WALL *E

Yesterday we saw the new Pixar movie Wall E. I always love going with a lot of people and this time the four of us went with Haleigh's friend Margaret & her family. Before I give my review (I figure if I'm never a social worker I'd like to be a movie reviewer) I have to say it's three for three for Jack! :) Meaning, the past three movies he watched the movie without running around!! Yay! The other two movies were Horton Hears a Who (very cute) & Kung Fu Panda (cute-some scary parts but I want my kids to LOVE scary movies) Dustin Hoffmann by the way, was hilarious as the master. So that leaves me with WALL E.
Alright. The first Pixar movie I saw at the theater was Finding Nemo (3x-still my fav). The first I saw in general was Toy Story & Toy Story 2 on dare I say, video. (oh Greg, your eyes are bleeding!!!!) Loved them, still do, I could watch them every so often & not get tired of them. Tom Hanks may be an idiot democrat but gotta love him as an actor. Finding Nemo I have such great memories. I remember taking Haleigh on a Saturday, she was nearing 4 & the theater was mobbed (just like I know it'll be for HSM3!!!) Haleigh was so excited. The second time we saw it with Jeff when we were on vacation at Carowinds. We went to this great theater in Pineville,NC. Jeff loved it so much we all went a third time back in Greenville. (I have to give props to Ellen Degeneres as Dory even though she is a freaky lesbian democrat!)
Ok, WALL E. I didn't recognize any big stars in this one. Although one voice was very familiar & I guess I'm not being a good reviewer not looking up his name. Wall E himself was really cute. Kinda reminds you of E.T. The first 20 min. or so was kinda gloomy (the movie is about 97 min.) It's kinda like an animated version of I Am Legend-w/out the zombies & blood. Depressing animation & only Wall E wandering around (he is followed by a roach). I was starting to regret coming but finally it turned around. More characters were introduced and some cute humor. I think it is great for 3-6 year olds & kids will like Wall E, the robot a lot. He is very lovable. The movie Wall E, is cute but any parent who isn't a movie goer may want to wait for dvd. I give it a B. Happy watching!!

Nice review.

I think we'll wait til it's on the movie channels.
I do hope to take Aidan to the kids' showing of The Bee Movie, and hopefully another one. Only problem is they show nearly the same time as tee-ball. :(

I haven't seen WALL E yet, but I am a big fan of most Pixar movies.

My first ever Pixar movie was Toy Story--which also happens to be my favorite. I think I've seen them all except for The Incredibles, Cars and WALL E. Am I missing any others?
